Ok first back to back done, 20k ride and a 7k run!! Still we have 134 days to crack it 🙂
So with 145 days to go I have a lot to do. On average I am running and cycling each week. However I am also eating and drinking way to much during this festive period. My plan is to become focused as we start the New Year!! STOP drinking for Jan and make this thing happen.

David: So with 3 weeks to go, I prepare to jet of for a weeks warm climate training in St Lucia at the bodyholiday- La sport with a daily PT program which includes 2 x 2.4k sea swims followed by an hour of Tai-Chi to help relax and stretch and then on to the healthy food and a couple of drinks. I hope this will prove to give me the final focused push I need before the event.
This week has be a bit hit and miss, the balance between family, work and training didn’t really go to well, I did still get 95 miles cycling in 1 mile swim and 11 miles of running. Today I got into the gym and did a couple of good circuits to try and break up the routines, whilst at the gym I heard the following quote which I thought was fitting “Training is learning to hurt ” so when I look at the bike route we have ahead of us I think we have a lot of hurting to come!!!!!
