Peter: I think I might have cheated myself this morning or at least it felt like it. Having done a big ride last night 47K I thought as my legs hurt I would calm it down this morning and work the lactic acid out of the legs by spinning on the bike – well I only racked up 12K in the time I have seems like a waste !! – still onwards now to tackle that dam tube strike .. happy days.
After my comments earlier about a positive day after a good training session my journey too and now back from London is a nightmare – no trains at all running on my normal route having to go further north before getting picked up from Stevenage station.
Positive mental attitude ..
what a load of b—–ks
Peter: Last time I post a status on facebook- no sooner had I mentioned how positive I felt after a good gym session the bloody train service screws up somthing about overhead power cable problems so I’m stuck on a train between stations for ages then eventually the train goes back to Borehamwood and they annouce to use a bus to get in to London …wow a nightmare ,,, sod it off to the bacon role shop all that gym work wasted – trying to see the funny side of it can’t quite get that though ???
Peter: “Today 15 Jan training came to a halt – on arriving at the gym for my 6am workout it was found that some bright spark had left the tap on the water machine running – this ran all night so with water coming through the light fittings of the floor below ( the gym is on the first floor) they had no choice but to keep the gym closed – I feel at a loss for not training this morning I actually showered at the gym and went to work well early, no one at the office when I arrived so no key meaning sitting in the café round the corner having a bacon sandwich – totally screwed up my plans inconsiderate bastard? Who knows if it will be open tomorrow – best laid plans !!!”
Editor: no chance of a quick run once round the block and a bowl of Muesli at Pret A Manger?
