It has been reported that whilst Colin is being treated in order to return to full duty, Bootsie, his lead career on match days, has been spotted on his bike.
Following surgery on one of the IMHeadcase team, Bootsie has stepped in and has begun training for the event……
Commenting Bootsie said ” It has to be done, we are all wishing Colin well and thinking of him constantly, but the show must go on ” he continued ” if I have to do it all then so be it ………but to be honest I have a long way to go and I am getting strange looks with these stabilisers on” Great effort Bootsie.

on the first bend one of the stabilisers snapped
and i fell off, a few cuts and bruises, and a broken bell
but otherwise ok.
Be careful out there Bootsie. It’s a jungle. Best get that bell fixed. I’m a little concerned that you do not appear to be sporting lights on your bicycle. Also a suitable hi viz jacket is an absolute must along with tassels on the handlebars and cards held with pegs on the rear wheel spokes. If a job is worth doing Boots it ought to be done properly. I’ve got some old knee pads from my courting days you could borrow to protect the knees in the event of another catastrophic stabiliser failure.
